I’m not a big fan of bees. I’ve been stung a few times and having a beehive in my garden was something I have always dreaded. But then I heard a talk by Marla Spivak on everything to do with bees and was amazed at how ignorant most of us are about these creatures and the role they play in our lives. In fact it only goes to prove once again our arrogance towards nature and all living beings. But it is never too late and for starters, I will look forward to welcoming bees in my garden in the future. (Editor)
