It actually takes the smallest part of a second to have ones sense of equanimity ruffled if it isn’t integrated in the truest way inside us. One moment all is well and the next moment, all is a whirlpool of emotions, an eddy that one gets stuck in, a bog that one can’t get out of. Or so it seems because when troubles come, they consume us and make us believe that nothing and no one else exists. And into all this, we tend to throw all that we are, all that we possess. Our energy, our thoughts, our feelings, our time and everything that our many lifetimes of growth and evolution have taught us – it all goes into that swirling current.
So here is a thought. ‘With less of you, there is more of God.’
With less of us to get scattered in the wind, there is more of God to do what needs to be done.
The next time you go for a spin in that familiar froth-filled turbulence, keep this in mind and it may make it a shorter cycle.
